A sibling-run, Filipino-American coffeehouse & in-house roaster in Astoria — under big monsteras and a hand-painted mural, in a room the neighborhood built.
Filipino-American · specialty coffee + in-house roastery · Astoria

The name
Every detail — from Millie’s to our roaster, Kapétid — ties back to one thing: family. A sibling venture the neighborhood crowdfunded into being: a space designed for connection.
From the counter
Filipino-inflected specialties
Serious specialty coffee meeting the flavors we grew up on — calamansi, ube, pandan, coconut. Our menu is seasonal and always growing.

Photos of the calamansi, ube & pandan drinks coming soon — for now, painted in our own botanical hand.

Coffee, roasted with care
We take the coffee seriously — a house cold-foam & syrup program, and an in-house roastery, Kapétid, with a dream of one day roasting Philippine-origin beans. Order an iced americano and taste it black; the quality’s the point.
Kapétid — kape + kapatid — coffee & sibling.
Our corner
A community coffee & art lounge
Big monsteras, thrifted armchairs on a warm rug, couches, and a coffee-plant mural a co-owner painted by hand — art everywhere, natural light, Wi-Fi, and room to stay. A leafy little “third place” Astoria built together.

Order ahead on Toast — or just walk in.
We’re a walk-in shop on 31st Street. Toast ordering comes and goes, so if it’s paused, just come see us — the couch is open.
